The room
A corner of Bruntsfield,
grown over with green.
We’ve worked hard to harmonise the old and the new — not only in the food, but in the room. A tenement corner opposite Bruntsfield Links, worked over two floors into somewhere warm, botanical and alive.
The detail
Clay, timber, brass
and a lot of foliage.
The signature is the arched mural — a bold, botanical piece that curves up over a terracotta banquette. Around it, dried and preserved foliage is trained across the walls and ceilings, warm clay plaster meets dark timber, and brass light details catch the evening.
Upstairs is all-day: the dining room, and a marble-topped bar for cocktails, wine and coffee. It’s relaxed but considered — and the dog is welcome on the ground floor.

A look around
Two floors, one feeling.

Below stairs
A private room,
and a garden.
Down the internal stairway is a private dining room — a sculptural screen wall, a long communal table, candlelight — and out the back, a small garden where the herbs grow and, in summer, events spill outside.
